We are so excited to recommence our classes in Douglas from this coming Monday 29th June.
Unfortunately, Blarney classes will not be able to commence until mid-late July (more info in the summer timetable section of the app).
We have completed a rigorous risk assessment and we are confident that with the correct protocol we are now in a position to reopen the studio.
I know that the information below may seem daunting and overwhelming however it is all measures which the government has asked us to introduce to help prevent the spread of Covid-19. We are still the same teachers in the same studio and we assure you that the fun, relaxed and happy atmosphere and environment that you all love so much has not and will not change.
Please find attached our new amended timetable which will run from Monday 29th June until Saturday 1st August. We have endeavoured to keep the timetable as close to our original one but obviously, in line with various government requests, our class start times have changed slightly. We hope that this does not cause too much disruption. Your child will stay in the same class group and day for these 5 weeks of classes.
Class size is extremely limited in every group due to social distancing. We must know in advance which students will be attending which classes. Therefore we are asking you to email us info@studiowolfe.ie if you are NOT attending this teaching session. This must be done by this Saturday 27th June. This will allow us to calculate our class numbers and adjust our timetable accordingly. If we don’t hear from you, we will assume you are participating and allocate you a space in the group. Don’t worry if you cannot attend all 5 sessions due to holidays, outings, sickness etc. We will treat this as we do in our regular term and you will just be marked as absent on the days you miss.
As mentioned previously in order for us to successfully and safely reopen our studio, there will be some changes made in the way your class is delivered. These are listed in our class guide (available in the covid-19 section).
We have all current policies and procedures in place in order to help prevent the spread of Covid-19 and we have given extensive thought to the mitigation of risk within the studio environment as far as we possibly can. On a daily basis we will endeavour to cross-check government guidance regarding our risk assessment and will amend accordingly.
Our risk assessment, reopening checklist and our return to activity checklist are all available to view in the Covid-19 section of the app.
The students are the heart of everything we do and our number one priority is to have them return to the activity that they love. We want to reassure you that the safety and well being of the students and our staff is of paramount importance and we will continue to do our utmost to remain vigilant and responsive.
We will upload a video this weekend of the new studio layout and our hygiene and social distancing measures which will be in place for parents and students when arriving, during and leaving your weekly classes. We ask that watch this with your children.
We look forward to welcoming you back to Studio Wolfe.
